**Position Summary**:
Provides administration, coordination, facilitation, office management support, and technical support for the team and its initiatives and projects that advance the mandate and interests of the FNHA. Participates in the development and implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures essential for effective and efficient operations, as well as providing executive and administrative support.

**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides administrative support to the Regional Director and Regional Manager (including calendar management, call screening, preparation of agendas, meeting packages and materials, travel arrangements), and coordination support and leadership for the Regional Team
- Provides secretariat support to a variety of regional tables including the Regional Caucus and Regional Table, including preparation of agendas, meeting packages and materials, travel arrangements, logistic support at meetings, minute and decision note taking, etc.
- Develops and maintains the Regional SharePoint site in collaboration with the Office of the COO and Communications
- Develops and maintains regional databases in collaboration with Policy, Programs & Community Wellness Programs and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer and support to regional reporting, both internally and externally
- Coordinates, prepares, and reviews purchase requisitions, expense reports, and other financial claims
- Coordinates and oversees the organization of functions, activities, meetings, presentations and events, including all associated logistics for the Regional Director and Regional team, in collaboration with colleagues and other FNHA departments as appropriate
- Act as a liaison between the region and FNHA central service departments to ensure communication and coordination

**Qualifications**:

- Education- A certificate in business/office administration or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Experience- Relevant, recent and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provision of services to senior level staff processes (normally acquired over a period of 3-5 years)
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
- Experience in budget oversight and management
- Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
- Experience developing and maintain administrative systems, processes and procedures

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:

- Knowledge of the FNHA, and it’s structure and inter-dependencies
- Knowledge of the work of the Policy, Planning and Transformation team
- Knowledge of information, records and data management approaches and options
