**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

Coordinates and administers organization development programs and processes and assists the Employee Experience & EDI team on related activities as assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assists in researching leadership/employee development trends and best practices, programs and courses, with emphasis on online training; and recommends potential courses, articles and information. Also reviews training options in the context of individual development and succession plans, making related recommendations. Maintains reference library of programs and courses.

Coordinates and administers Talent Development project tracking, setting up initial project plans, tracking ongoing progress, monitoring timelines, and producing status reports.

Coordinates session (e.g. training, workshop, info session etc.) delivery by organizing schedules and room bookings, distributing invitations, maintaining team calendar(s), and handling registration queries, room setup, and other related details. May assist with basic elements of training session facilitation, such as taking notes and supporting group exercises.

Coordinates and administers surveys (e.g. post-session follow-up; employee engagement), which may include providing input to survey content, organizing distribution, assisting with data analysis, maintaining records of results, and generating system-based reports on findings.

Administers the departmental budget, processing invoices, liaising with Strategic Sourcing to ensure purchase orders, contracts and any required documentation are in place for vendors, and also monitoring and reconciling expenditures.

Assists in development of Talent Development programs and strategic plans by participating in assessments, recording critical and consolidating information, and team support during development, implementation and sustainment.

Streamlines processes for seamless coordination of Talent Development programs and services; maintains related records and materials; and also assists in developing presentations and reports.

Acts as first point of contact for the department. Administers and coordinates departmental programs in accordance with policies and guidelines. Provides information on the nature of programs and services, assesses basic needs and refers as appropriate. Maintains intranet pages and supports content development and creation.

Participates in projects and initiatives, contributing input form a coordination/administrative perspective. Develops and maintains relationships with all levels of staff across the organization in order to support the coordination and administration of Talent Development activities.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The requirements for this job are typically acquired through completion of a post-secondary program in business administration, project management, Human Resources, or organizational development field, and three years of related experience through which a working knowledge of Human Resources/People & Culture was developed.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Basic knowledge and understanding of organization development concepts, with emphasis on leadership/employee development.

Solid working knowledge of learning and development programs and Microsoft project, with the necessary technical knowledge to set up modules and courses, assign participants, participate in upgrades, carry out testing, troubleshoot problems, and run queries, support modules and maintain data.

Solid planning and coordination skills to provide administrative support to a wide range of POD programs and services, and to organize and maintain related systems and records.

Solid interpersonal and communication skills to act as first point of contact for the department, explain policies and procedures, and provide information on programs and service.

Basic research, analytical and problem-solving skills to review and assess course content, analyze survey results, and resolve system-based problems.
