Bistro & Banquets Attendant with Staff Accommodation

The Park Place Lodge is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill a full time position in The Bistro Restaurant at Park Place Lodge as our Bistro and Banquets Attendant - required shifts are Monday - Friday 6am - 12pm.
The following criteria must be met:

- A self-starter with highly tuned organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Well groomed and presentable
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare Bistro for breakfast service
- Greeting and seating of guests
- Taking the guests orders and addressing any questions or dietary requests
- Communication and coordination with the Back of House Team
- Table set up and delivery of meals
- Clearing, Bussing & re-setting tables
- End of service cleaning and closing routines
- Set up clean up and/or oversee the set up and cleanup of function spaces for events
- Serving functions and events
- Lead, guide and train other members of the Bistro and Banquets Service Staff
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager as needed
- Upsell products to increase revenue
- Accommodate guest requests regarding food and beverage as well as equipment rental
- Utilize problem solving skills to resolve guest complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
- Maintain service standards
Minimum of 2 years within the Food & Beverage industry and 6 months within the Hotel/Accommodation Industry.
Applicants must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as per business flows.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
