Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Bridge Bistro. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and special functions.
- Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards to exceed guest expectations.
- Prepare dishes for guests with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety and satisfaction.
- Recruit and train staff to ensure a well-rounded and skilled kitchen team.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
The Bridge Bistro is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As an Executive Chef, you will be working in a restaurant setting with a team of skilled professionals. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
