Alberta Paramount College is currently looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated addition to our team who can bring the experience needed to fill the position of **Practicum Coordinator** for our programs.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Calgary, AB. As a Practicum Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the practicum experiences for students in various programs, building relationships with the industry partners, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and policies, and tracking and reporting on student progress.
It will be the Practicum Coordinators responsibility to ensure that each student has an up to date resume and cover letter. This will be done during the Job Readiness course that will be organized and ran under this position.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a related role
- Support students and all employers participating in practicums and practicum prep courses
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local labour market trends and industry partnerships
- Familiarity with provincial regulations related to PCC education programs
- Mediate and resolve any student-employer conflicts and refer to appropriate resources as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
