**The Purpose of the Role**
**Supporting the CEO. **The primary objective of this role is to support our CEO as Social Nature enters a period of high growth and change. While managing complex scheduling, changing priorities, and tight deadlines this role is always thinking at least 3 steps ahead to remove blockers and ensure alignment in a fast paced environment. No two days will look the same as you quickly shift gears between drafting investor and team communications, creating powerpoints for meetings, managing calendars to create time for a critical project, and following up on actions from the morning's management team meeting. While you remain focused on critical tasks and priorities you continuously ensure strong alignment and clarity between the CEO and management team. As we work towards closing our Series A financing, you will closely support this process through maintaining our investor CRM, managing meetings/deadlines, and supporting change management following the fundraise.
**Operations Support. **With a lean operations team at Social Nature, we all roll up our sleeves to make it happen when it comes to administrative and operational functions of the business. This role takes pride in creating operational efficiencies leading the administrative functions of the business. Whether it's creating a welcoming and supportive physical and virtual environment, partnering with finance to maintain our file system, or managing the administration of our tech stack, you understand every task serves a purpose in building our business and enabling Social Nature to scale. Whether going through a weekly to-do list or researching how to solve a new problem you see it through and set yourself and the team up for success

Part of this role will be to manage various people and culture related programs including event management (including our annual company retreat, acting as chair of our Social Committee, maintaining our rewards and recognition programs, supporting our internal communications and engagement (including organizing Town Halls, learning and development events, etc), and other initiatives related to our team and culture.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Provide executive support to the CEO, including managing changing priorities, drafting team, investor and board communications, and making travel arrangements
- Act as the CEO's liaison with internal and external partners, including board of directors, investors, senior executives, employees, and customers
- Support internal and external alignment through coordination meeting agendas/notes, capturing actions, drafting follow up correspondence, and following up on progress
- Work closely with the management team to ensure alignment with the CEO on company goals and KPIs
- Support the management of our physical and virtual space through acting as the primary point of contact, ordering supplies, and managing issues
- Partner with our finance and operations team on administrative functions such as file maintenance, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, etc.
- Systems administration (managing software access, budgets etc)
- Chair our social committee and contribute to various team and culture building initiatives
- Lead the planning of company wide events including our annual team retreat
- Support our people programs including recognition, wellness, learning & development, and team communications
- Manage projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, including research, data analysis, and presentation preparation

**What You Will Need To Succeed In This Role**
- 2+ years supporting senior leadership or Executive teams
- 3-5 years in an administrative role
- Exceptional communication skills that allows you to synthesize complex information into digestible messaging and formats
- Experience planning events (logistics, budgets, timelines, experience, etc.)
- Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment by being able to deal with ambiguous situations
- Post secondary education in communications or business administration is ideal
- Creativity, drive, and enthusiasm to stay two steps ahead in anticipating the needs of the CEO and management team
