**Account Executive - Rome Transportation Inc. (Kitchener, ON.)**

**This is an **_in-office_** position**: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM-5PM

**You Will**:

- Develop and manage your own book of business through business-to-business cold calling and networking.
- Follow up with new and existing clients to provide freight solutions and successfully close the opportunities.
- Prospecting for new business and clients.
- Negotiate rates with carriers.
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Logistics Coordinators to ensure client needs and expectations are met.

**You Have**:

- A post-secondary education in relevant field or relatable industry experience
- Is familiar with various software’s including CRMs
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
- Advanced organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- The willingness to learn the ins and outs of a niche industry.
- The ability to connect with people.
- A determined mindset with a go-getter attitude.
