Alliston, Canada Accounting & Bookkeeping Full time

Small home based business seeking a HYBRID Bookkeeper for 2 - 4 days per week to start ASAP.

**Requirements**:

- Must be proficient with computers / technology
- Payroll experience is required.
- Must have experience using QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft software, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Must have a pleasant, professional, passionate and positive demeanor with a strong work ethic and desire to exceed expectations.
- Must take pride in work, be responsible, ambitious, dedicated, and reliable with a thirst for knowledge.
- Must have strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills and high ethical standards with problem solving abilities.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member with the ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Must have exceptional time management skills, strong organizational skills, and strong attention to detail with extraordinary accuracy.
- Must possess high ethical standards and problem solving abilities are required.

Certificate in Bookkeeping / accounting an asset, along with QuickBooks experience.

**DUTIES**

Full cycle bookkeeping functions of the company to be able to perform when necessary:

- A/R, A/P, Invoicing, Journal Entries
- Bank reconciliations, Monthly credit card and LOC reconciliations, online credit card and bill payments.
- Payroll duties, includes processing T4's, T4A's, ROE's.
- Produce invoices and collect payments when required.
- Government & WSIB filing preparation.
- Preparing client files for year-end filing including depreciation, prepaids, accruals, Inventory.

T1 Income Tax preparation would be an asset.

Graduate of Post-secondary education holding a related diploma is preferred.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Permanent, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
