Zoom Optical is an independent optical shop offering comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting and specialty vision solutions and a high end eyewear boutique with exceptional frame and sunglasses collections. We are hiring a Full time Office Administrator to join our team

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creates a welcoming environment to all clients by ensuring the Zoom Optical customer service culture is executed.
- Answers phone calls in a professional manner.
- Schedules and coordinates appointments.
- Assists patients with the initial paperwork.
- Answers customers’ queries. To ensure good quality customer service, you are required to assist customers on the shop floor.
- Processes insurance payments.
- Receives new stock, maintain all visual merchandising standards and all general housekeeping duties.
- Other administrative duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and customer service skills.
- Pleasant and personable.
- Punctual.
- Demonstrated initiative, accuracy and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS word, MS excel, MS power point.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Relevant experience working in a retail setting environment is considered an asset.
- Must be able to work between two locations
- Able to lift or carry heavy product or large amounts of inventory.
