Located by the beautiful seaside of Victoria, BC, the award wining _**Dashwood Manor**_ Bed & Breakfast provides the perfect lodging for vacation holidays, business travel, and romantic getaways. This 1912 heritage home sits gracefully on the edge of Victoria’s scenic marine drive, Dallas Road, and is surrounded by incredible ocean and mountain views, mile long beaches, and the famous Beacon Hill Park.

We are a friendly and passionate team, and are looking for energetic, enthusiastic professionals to join, and to become the Front Desk & Housekeeping Extraordinaire of _Dashwood_

As the Front Desk & Housekeeping Extraordinaire, you understand the importance of a warm welcoming check-in experience for our guests, and are committed to going above and beyond to make guests stay memorable. You will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Creating a memorable experience for our guests".

Only applicants who are based in BC, Canada will be considered.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests
- Physically able to complete tasks in a timely manner; good time management skills
- Housekeeping: Able to clean rooms, and organize working area to meet good standards
- Experience working independently and or working as a part of the team
- Flexible with job duties and willing to take initiative
- Teamwork: Including working with a team, and team task delegations
- Help with marketing, events, website updates, maintenance coordination, etc
- Daily operations, other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

- Flexible with work dates, such as able to work 3-5 days in a week, from Monday to Sunday
- Previous hotel or B&B experience is preferred
- Good communication skills, and fluent in English
- Detail oriented and an experienced problem solver
- Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Post-secondary education in a hospitality program is an asset

**Pay and Benefits**:

- The starting pay rate for the position is $21 - $23 per hour, and is dependent on experience and performance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
