**Position Summary and Scope of Service**:

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and consistent with the Mission, Values and Policies of St.Amant the Human Resource Associate performs duties related to the recruitment and processing of all new hires, as well as provides strategic support to the various HR functions and programs. The Human Resource Associate maintains integrity of process(es) by ensuring St.Amant is compliant with Provincial and Federal employment guidelines.
1 Full-time temporary, Monday - Friday day position available. Hybrid working environment.

**Qualifications**:
- High school Diploma, Certificate or G.E.D
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management and/or relevant skills and experience in an HR Related setting
- Post-secondary education or training that is relevant to the job responsibilities is considered
**Professional**:
- Two or more years of work experience in recruitment and/or human resources preferably in a health care or family services setting
- Experience working with employees and the public and in an effective and professional manner
- Effective organizational skills to manage large volume recruitment activities
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- General understanding of human resources-related legislation, HR policies and collective agreements
- General familiarity of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
- Ability to compile and analysis trend data for programs
- Experience using Quadrant or another HRIS
- CHRP designation is an asset (or working towards certification)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Program Service and Support**:
The incumbent works collaboratively with the Human Resources team when delivering services.
**Duties include**:
- Works with respective programs to best understand program recruitment needs
- Designs talent acquisition strategies with programs which includes, but is not limited to; environmental scans (provincially/ inter-provincially), creating meaningful job descriptions, designs and maintains relevant and current interview questions works with Communications to develop social media campaigns
- Builds and maintains effective community partnerships to enhance quality recruitment
- Provides guidance and insights to program
- Attends career fairs as assigned
- Prepares internal and external postings for both union and non-union job vacancies
- Maintains applicant tracking system
- Prepares regular recruitment summaries for respective program that span the entire recruitment cycle (onboarding to employee exit)
- Creates, maintains, and closes job postings as requested
- Summarizes job postings preparing for hires and/or transfers
- Conducts reference checks or assigns to administrative assistant
- Prepares and updates pre-screen/interview questions as needed to stay relevant
