Your territory will be throughout Nova Scotia, focused in HRM with the opportunity expand. As the HVAC Business Development Manager focuses on residential and commercial sales, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. **You will be responsible for**:
- Conducting thorough market research to identify potential target segments and industries for HVAC solutions.
- Identifying, prospecting, and building strong relationships with residential and commercial clients to understand their HVAC requirements.
- Developing and delivering tailored presentations, proposals, and solutions that effectively communicate the value of our products and services.
- Negotiating contracts and terms to secure new business deals and projects.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with clients to address their needs, concerns, and feedback.
- Tracking and analyzing sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's visibility and network.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with industry partners, distributors, and influencers.
- Providing regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and HVAC product developments to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Continuously improving your product knowledge and sales techniques through training and self-development.
- Booking customer home assessment appointments, scoping work and materials required.
- Successfully managing the sales process with the sales coordinator: qualifying customer needs and budget, presenting appropriate solutions, negotiating, and closing new business. Seeing the project through to installation.
- Leverage our extensive leads database whilst also adding to the database through individual prospecting.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of successful sales and business development, with a focus on both residential and commercial markets.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and services will be considered an asset.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
