This opportunity provides the right individual with the opportunity to lead growth in our dry van and refrigerated truck load and LTL divisions. Reporting directly to ownership this position will require you to work independently.

Sales Representative is responsible for:

- Achieving sales and business development objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing business. Effectively brand and market our services.
- Develop new customers and improve the company's productivity, competitiveness and profitability.
- Analyze capacity and volume needs to ensure business requirements are met.
- Develop and manage relationships with customers.
- Resolve issues as appropriate.
- Analyze market, territory to determine potential customer’s value as well as grow the company’s customer base.
- Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects and building; relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy;
- Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally;
- Ensure new customers and business is fostered;
- Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology;
- Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s);
- Prepare presentations and delivering to prospective clients;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written);
- Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally;
- Ability to bring on, close and deliver new business;
- Drive new business by recommending solutions that fit the needs of our customers;
- 3-5 years experiences in freight markets

Qualifications:

- Proven track record in achieving sales objectives and targets.
- Self-motivated, assertive and ability to function independently.
- 3-5 years Sales experience in logistics and trucking industry required
- Strong geographical knowledge of Canada and US
- Willing to share your ideas and strategies to advance our company for the future.
- Organized, detail-oriented - excellent follow-up skills are essential
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
