Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales goals associated with “true” new starts and competitive conversions in collaboration with the local territory representative in targeted assigned territory based on the direction of the Sales Manager, New Business, through the effective selling and promoting of Nobel Biocare products, solutions and services to new customers within the framework of organizational policies and directives. Flexibility to take part in special projects and operations within assigned territory based on the direction of the Sales Manager, New Business and in collaboration with the General Manager, Canada.

**Accountabilities**:

- Develop and implement a sales plan for new customers, access their needs and characteristics.
- Present appropriate, products, solutions and services.
- Evenings and weekends for starter courses
- Minimum of 50% travel
- Attend assigned starter courses in order to increase sales trends at each course. Assist 3rd party courses with product tracking.
- Plan sales activity based on the areas needs to ensure that area attains or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly and/or annual sales goals.
- Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers; develop and implement creative strategies aimed at converting these prospective customers from competition to a new customer.
- Maintain regular contact with the Regional Managers and territory managers in order to strengthen relationships and ensure the success with starters. Partner and align with Area Directors and Regional Managers regarding business direction specific to new starts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders. Utilize these relationships to expand market share.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer files and records in order to have complete up-to
- date customer information, which can be shared among the (local) organization.
- Report to the management about any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that negatively or positively affect local sales.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement them at the territory level.
- Establish and maintain a travel schedule that will allow consistent contact with existing and potential customers. Schedule must follow sales plan and logical routing plan.
- Manage assigned geographical territory within allocated expense budget.
- Complete all work in a timely manner.
- Participate in (inter-)national and local trade shows and company meetings as appropriate. Support courses within assigned area.
- Maintain competitive analysis reports outlining customer promotions and customer interests.
- Maintain consistent communication with sales representatives regarding promotions specifically tied to starters and courses.

**Job Requirements**:
**Critical Knowledge and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years of achievement oriented sales experience, preferably in the medical device field.
- Equivalent educational level: Undergraduate degree in business or related field.

**Critical Skills/technical know-how**:_(what the _role_ holder must be able to do)_
- Demonstrated ability to digest, to comprehend, and verbalize highly technical product and clinical information related to company and industry products.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills. (Microsoft office).

**Critical Experience**:

- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated professional sales skills.
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Sales Hunter mentality
- Ability to manage and follow-up with numerous leads provided by various sources from the local team, inside sales and the digital marketing team
