**Description**:
As we expand our regional efforts, we seek several experienced, energetic, and collaborative individuals - (one per region). As the regional staff, you will play a critical support role in achieving the CBCC’s core mission by serving our unique membership through the position of Membership and Administrative Assistant, with specific support to the Executive Director. In addition to general organizational support, this full-time position will assist with Communications, Marketing, Governance and policy portfolios. As a membership coordinator, you will assist in generating revenue for the Chamber and add value for members. You will be responsible for ensuring the growth and retention of the Chamber membership base by implementing and maintaining comprehensive recruitment, engagement, and service programs resulting in solid and stable relationships and administering membership programs, tiers, and benefits. You are a collaborative leader who works closely with colleagues and who understands and conveys to members how the entire organization serves our membership base of businesses and organizations.

Reporting to the Executive Director and working with portfolio Managers and Coordinators, your primary responsibilities will include:
**Administrative Role**:

- Working with the Executive Director to support the coordination and execution of CBCC’s related activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating meeting materials and minutes.
- Receiving and processing invoicing and payment for the Elevate Economic System project.
- Receiving guests _at the _CBCC’s office, including Board and Committee members, Community members and external service providers.
- Providing accounts payable/receivable and other accounting-related assistance to senior Executives and the Comptroller.
- Processing payment of annual membership dues.
- Coordinating booking and logistics for the use of CBCC’s Boardroom by internal and external parties, including the arrangement of catering, audiovisual and other requirements.
- Monitoring and coordinating CBCC’s paper and electronic records and senior project management activities.

**Membership Coordination Role**:

- Contact members regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their membership and services.
- Create and cultivate strong relationships with members through effective outreach and engagement.
- Coordinate programs, and events, explore research and implement best practices for managing membership programs for Chambers of Commerce and similar business membership organizations.
- Coordinate affinity programs with a focus on increasing member satisfaction and retention.
- Contribute to developing our annual programming strategy to engage members and deliver clear value for their investment effectively.
- Coordinate new member orientation process and materials to maximize the value of their membership.
- Maintain up-to-date membership metrics and monitor progress toward annual goals by using our customer relationship management system regularly.
- Partner with other organizations and businesses to allow the Chamber to add value for members.
- Ensure the Chamber is providing value and fulfilling the needs and expectations of members through feedback from members and membership surveys.
- Required to use Chamber-established software, equipment, and internal database management systems.

**Qualification**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in operating Microsoft Office and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM), data analysis and performance/operation metrics and Business infrastructure.

**Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset**:

- Non-profit or Charitable organization, Association, Governance (Board of Directors), administration
- Communications and Marketing, Government Relations, Bilingual (French, English)

**Benefits and Salary**:

- Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, term life and disability insurance. A comprehensive benefits package is also part of the competitive employment package.
- Starting salary ranges between **$50,000 to $55,000, **depending on skills and experience.
