**About us**

The Lifesaving Society Ontario is a full-service provider of programs, products and services designed to prevent drowning. We save lives and prevent water-related injury through our training programs, Water Smart® public education, drowning prevention research, aquatic safety management and lifesaving sport. Each year, more than 1,000,000 Canadians participate in the Society’s swimming, lifesaving, lifeguarding and leadership programs.

The Lifesaving Society Ontario is seeking an organized individual who is accurate, detail-oriented, has excellent keyboarding skills, likes working with numbers and has a good grasp of Microsoft office software to provide administrative support to the Information Services Team.

Reporting to the Senior Information Services Officer, the Information Services Support Admin:

- Takes notes, formats and creates documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office software.
- Schedules internal Information Services team meetings and coordinates attendance.
- Researches products and services via the web.
- Runs exception reports, verifies results, issues notices to members.
- Creates and retrieves files and maintains the organization of the Society’s corporate records management system.
- Posts to web site using content management software.
- Administers and reconciles programs.
- Reviews, enters, verifies and corrects data using custom membership software.
- Actively participates in user testing of custom software development.
- Works in a team environment consistent with the Lifesaving Society culture of providing excellent products and services to customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Possession of the following knowledge, skills and experience will enable the selected applicant to perform the major job functions successfully.
- An aptitude for logic and education or experience in an administrative or technology support role
- Minimum intermediate knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook desktop)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills in English; French a definite asset
- Knowledge of HTML an asset
- Interaction with the Lifesaving Society as an award holder, volunteer or affiliate contact an asset
- Prefers working in-house in a team environment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines
- Detail oriented, accurate, problem solver, flexible, team player
- Eligible to work in Canada

**Salary**: $59,544.00 per year
