- **Purpose of position**:_

The Customer Service Representative position is responsible for developing strong relationships with clients and having a deep understanding of customer needs to act as the liaison and main point of contact between the customer and other departments. The role coordinates internal resources and company abilities in order to respond quickly to customer needs and to implement proactive corrective actions as needed to ensure a high level of customer experience and satisfaction.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**:_Other duties may be assigned._
- Customer account visits including project discussions alignment of project orders, understanding of customers planning schedules coordinating back to our scheduling for capacity planning.
- Relationship uilding with project managers/purchasers to discuss project orders.
- Assist outside sales representatives by communicating potential issues and providing solutions with orders. Working together for customer satisfaction.
- Log customer complaints (including RMA) with full information of the issue from the customer point of view.
- Coordinating interdepartmentally with Production scheduling / Shipping on customer specific requirements.
- Assist customers on tracking and expediting orders as required.
- Analyzing and reviewing incoming orders for completeness and accuracy as per our vetting standard protocols.
- Entering orders into an ERP system as required
- Quoting / Pricing into our ERP system as required
- Technical knowledge of Saand products (benefits / comparisons)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams an asset.
- **Work Experience Requirements**:_
- o Minimum 3 years customer service in a manufacturing environment
- o Fluency in English, written and oral is essential and French would be an asset.
- o Working knowledge of MS Office and strong keyboarding skills.
- o Proven customer service orientation.
- o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- o Must be able to establish priorities and work as part of a team.
- o Will include some travelling to customers.
- o A knowledge of the glass industry, i.e. tempering, I. G and/or laminated glass would definitely be an asset.
- o Project coordinating would be an asset.
