DEPARTMENT: Operations / Administration REPORTS TO: Director of Finance & Operations

**SUMMARY**:
The operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Finance & Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the exhibitor exhibiting process including the organization and reconciliation of professional conferences and trade shows.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Preparation of exhibitor information manuals
- Assist with pre-show and on-site plans for all official show contractors
- Interact with exhibitors and conference attendees pre-show to facilitate their show participation
- Provide customer support for exhibitor and attendee inquiries.
- Assist with accommodations and travel coordination for staff, speakers and exhibitors where required
- Co ordinate event requirements including venue contracts, room sets, speaker requests, signage and other conference requirements such as decorating, audio visual needs, shipping and food and beverage requirements.
- Any other duties required in the successful operation of a conference and tradeshow, including on-site show management.
- Travel will be required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
- Project Management experience would be an asset
- Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy and aptitude for numbers
- Knowledge of tradeshow and conference industry would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written), customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work both, independently, and in a team environment
- Ability to display a positive outlook, follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and difficult, stressful situations with tact and professionalism
- Self-motivated, with clear ability to work under pressure at times and with mínimal supervision
- Pleasant manner, professional appearance and diplomatic
- University Degree or College Diploma in Business or related business training/experience

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
