Headquartered in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and with a site in Mirabel, Quebec, we operate in more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.
The** Accounts Payable Administrator **supports the finance team by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, facilitating smooth financial operations.
**In this role you will**:
- Enter Accounts Payable invoices into the ERP system with precision.
- Conduct data entry for supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Digitally save and scan all incoming invoices and statements.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements to maintain financial accuracy.
- Coordinate approval processes for miscellaneous purchases or purchase order variances.
- Efficiently process employee expense claims in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough research and reconciliation of scrap, price variance, stock over/short, and quantity adjustments, posting variances to appropriate programs.
- Perform any additional duties as required.
**You have**:
- Post-secondary education with concentration in Accounting.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of general accounting procedures.
- Exhibit proficiency in accurate data entry.
- Showcase strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate adept prioritization and decision-making skills.
- Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office products, with expert proficiency in Excel.
