Bookkeeper (Part-time)

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare tax documents and work closely with tax professionals as needed
- Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax processes
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
