Bolloré Logistics is looking to add a full-time** Transborder and U.S. Customs Specialist **to its growing team in Canada We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and grow your career.

**Responsibilities**:
The role of the **Transborder and U.S. Customs Specialist **is to direct and coordinate activities of the Transborder & Customs entry process, ensuring a fast courteous and efficient customer experience while maintaining a competitive cost structure.
- Act as a resource person for the Bolloré network, U.S. customs, the suppliers and customer service (internally and externally) and ensure a high level of customer service is offered.
- Suggest innovative solutions to clients and the Bolloré network.
- Communicate the value of a customs broker to clients and new prospects.
- Facilitate account setup processes, including providing basic quotes.
- Create and submit quotations to customers while providing a U.S. customs consultation service.
- Receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
- Verify the documents submitted by the customer to ensure compliance.
- Stay informed with up-to-date knowledge of international trade agreements and preferential trade programs.
- Understand all release types, in all modes of transportation.
- Problem-solve release or trade compliance issues.
- Develop and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Customs compliance manuals to ensure regulatory adherence and efficient internal processes.
- Comply with the laws and regulations of the different governments and the ISO standards set out by the company.
- Review and follow data privacy practices, policies and guidelines.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Post-Secondary education in a relevant field; skills and experience will be considered
- Customs release and Compliance : 5 years
- Data analysis and accuracy
- Client focused communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent judgment and initiative, detailed-oriented, organized
