**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives
- Oversee recruitment and hiring processes, including building job descriptions, job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote career advancement
- Administer payroll, RRSP and benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- Conduct monthly safety meetings and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR activities, including employee files and payroll information
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and implement changes as needed
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters

**ROLE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the food manufacturing or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and programs that drive employee engagement and retention
- Experience with HR systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- CPHR certification or working towards CPHR is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

**WHAT WE OFFER**

The typical hiring range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
