**Position**:Program and Events Coordinator Part-Time

**Reporting to**: Rangeview Homeowners Association (RHOA), General Manager

**Location**:Rangeview

**Job Purpose**:

- Reporting to the General Manager, Rangeview Homeowners Association, the Events Coordinator will be a part-time contract position to create, plan and provide an excellent Rangeview experience to residents and visitors of the community

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of meaningful programs and events for the residents, in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Must be in attendance for all programs and events
- Maintains effective communication and good human relations with residents, families, volunteers and staff of other departments, keeping them informed of current and upcoming events.
- Attends weekly/bi-weekly meetings in order to keep informed of current trends in the neighborhood.
- Prepare, carry out and evaluate daily activities in relation to the programs or events in the community.
- Assisting with organizing catering services, ensure outside vendors are vetted for appropriate licenses, and certifications as required.
- Assist in the monthly planning & creation of the event calendar for Rangeview.
- Review goals and ensure event programming is carried out appropriately to meet resident needs.
- Maintain appropriate records of residents, planned programs, attendance and feedback for improvements from residents.
- Develop a plan for survey analysis before and after to gauge resident level of engagement.
- Develop marketing material for the activities, such as monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts.
- Represent as an ambassador for the Rangeview community and Rangeview resident brand experience.
- Stay up to date and cross trained in all accountabilities as may be directed by the General Manager of RHOA.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous event planning experience.
- Experience working within a budget.
- Advanced experience using social media.
- CPR, First Aid Training, and a valid driver’s license.
- A proactive self-starter who is highly organized and works well as a team member.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Have a basic understanding of horticulture and various types of gardens (demonstration, community, pollinator, food forests, orchards, allotment, and kitchen gardens).
- Excels in a multitasking environment.
