**Job description**

JCI Filtration and Separation Ltd (JCI) is a Canadian-owned distribution and manufacturing organization providing complete filtration products and solutions for industrial and commercial clients since 2004. JCI currently services the oil & gas, manufacturing, and chemical industries.

We have an opportunity for a dynamic and results-oriented **Technical Outside Sales Representative** to join our team based in Grande Prairie. We are seeking a team player preferably with experience in filtration, Oil and Gas (Operations) or B2B sales who enjoys a fast-paced environment with unlimited earning potential. Responsibilities include managing an assigned territory, lead development, achieving individual monthly, quarterly targets and overall growth of the individual territory sales pipeline.

We are looking for a driven individual who is a self-starter, cultivator and closer, focused on bringing new customers and growing existing accounts.
- Actively manage and grow accounts in a large, pre-existing customer base as a sales and service representative
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
- Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships
- Cold-call and service gas plants, fabrication shops and other oil and gas clients by offering a wide range of filtration and separation products and continuously monitoring and meeting client needs
- Ensure continued visibility of JCI products with existing clients
- Troubleshoot processes and find custom solutions for customers through design review, technical reviews and site walk-throughs
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience / sales account representative experience in the Oil and Gas industry (preferred)
- Gas Plant Operations experience an asset.
- Be sales and service oriented
- Ability to prospect for new clients
- Maintain customer relations and build new relationships
- Analytical and problem solving capability
- Self motivated and the ability to work independently
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Basic understanding of the Oil and Gas Industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are a must
- Able to drive to remote locations within assigned territory for sales meetings and customer visits
- Ability to lift 50lbs a must
- Ability and willingness to be outdoors during all weather conditions
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Working understanding and use of Microsoft 365.

JCI Group offers a competitive compensation package that includes a healthy base salary and a commission program with no cap on earnings and benefits.
