Research Assistant, Building An Inclusive Community: a Review of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.
**Position Overview**:
A research assistant is required for this project to support knowledge mobilization efforts. This includes synthesizing research findings, creating accessible summaries and assisting with the dissemination of information through various formats such as reports, presentations or digital platforms.
**Duties**:
- Prepare materials for research and data collection/record keeping
- Assist in documenting research findings
- Create materials for knowledge translation and publication
- Perform of routine clerical duties to support research activities.
**Qualifications**:
- The applicant should have a strong academic standing and preferably have a background in Education.
- The ability to readily use visual content creation tools is a requirement for this position.
**Condition(s) of Employment**:
- **Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.**
The period of work will be from **January 6, 2025 - April 4, 2025**and the estimated total hours of work will be **75-100 hours**.
