- Drafting and proofreading online materials for JSGS workshops and offerings, based on the outline provided by either the facilitator, Program Coordinator or Manager.
- Ensures that Executive Education program materials are completed at a professional standard and improves client learning and experience.
- Creation of online materials using Articulate Rise.
- Condensing online materials into succinct takeaway summaries for clients.
- Provides workshop participants with a branded resource to review key learnings and workshop concepts.
- Preparing online surveys for JSGS workshops and reviewing and distributing the data.
- Provides a mechanism for updates and improvements to Executive Education programs centered on client‐feedback.
- Allows for accurate attendance taking of Executive Education programs, as well as a means of distributing workshop materials in advance.
- Researching, developing and publishing visual graphics for JSGS online workshop materials including charts, info‐graphics and videos.
- Presents information in interactive and engaging ways, to improve client experience.
- Drafts, with specific direction, a comprehensive and consistent social media strategy for each program, each semester that reflects JSGS visual identity standards; to be approved by the Supervisor ; includes promotion on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook platform, and could extend to Instagram, TikTok, and other social media and social networking platforms.
- Drafts, with specific direction, additional promotional ideas for EE programs, such as video advertising or animations; ensures cross‐promotion of other JSGS activities and programs, JSGS graduates and alumni, etc., to be approved by the Supervisor.
- Works with the Program Coordinator to draft and assist with the implementation of
an equity & accessibility strategy for all EE programs, as part of
JSGS EDI strategy; conducting research on currently recommended accessibility guidelines for online and in‐person learning; includes writing image descriptions, adding closed captioning
to recorded videos and animations; reviewing and revising course curricula to ensure the visuals meet recommended accessibility guidelines.
- To meet participant requests, draft e‐textbooks for participants of the Policy Workshop Series
(approx. 40 workshop topics currently being offered) for review and approval from the Supervisor.
- Leads Zoom workshops for approximately 15 training events per semester; provides technical support for participants and facilitators; manages breakout rooms, whiteboards, and other learner engagement tools (such as Zoom polls or padlets); runs workshop slides decks for facilitators (using Canva); evaluates workshop content and learner engagement; provides feedback to facilitators and facilitates updates to course content.

Position Requirements
- Experience and expertise in communications, writing, and knowledge translation are very important.
- Experience and expertise with all the basic computing programs and an ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Experience and a basic understanding of how government works and key concepts of public policy and public administration is a strong asset.
- Experience and understanding of project management and program coordination is an asset.
- Knowledge of the following software is an asset:

- Articulate/Rise360: Used for the development of online materials/modules for Executive Education programs
- Canva: Used for the design of visual infographics for use in online materials
- Microsoft PowerPoint: Editing and reviewing slides for workshop seminars
- Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets: Used in the creation and formatting of registration lists and historical workshop data
- SurveyMonkey: Used for the design and distribution of client-feedback surveys

Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 4 Salary Range $42,533.40 - $57,457.40 Status Term Work Hours
