As part of the Manulife Insurance-Affinity Travel Sales Division, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a National Client Manager. As a National Client Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of important key strategic accounts. There will be a primary focus on ensuring their overall satisfaction while fostering long-term partnerships. Additionally, you will need to utilize your relationship, analytical, and negotiation skills to drive growth and success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create, implement and execute a mutually agreed upon business partner plan outlining strategic objectives, targets, timelines, and tactics for achievement.
- Collaborate with the Inside and Outside Business Development Management Teams to provide support for overall program execution with a focus on training initiatives and sales growth.
- Assist with the creation of presentations and training material on an ongoing basis.
- Provide support for sales team to ensure overall client satisfaction.
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product, Claims, Finance and IT to ensure all agreed upon commitments are being delivered.
- Conduct regular scheduled client meetings.
- Attend client conferences both domestic and international.
- Commitment to exceed annual sales targets through organic growth and acquisition of new business.
Qualifications:
- Highly self - motivated and positive individual with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong reporting/CRM skills with the ability to effectively manage client data to be utilized for business growth.
- Strong contracting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and OneNote
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel as required both Domestically and Internationally.
- Position based in the Toronto area.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Ability to work from home.
