**Administrative Assistant**

Reporting to the Office manager, this role will play a key role in customer service and administrative support across departments. The primary responsibilities will focus on daily, weekly and monthly accounting and administrative tasks associated with Office Administration, Accounts Receivables and Employee initiatives, assisting HR with employee related data/information entry and maintenance, meetings and working with managers on client services matters. You will:
Accounts Receivable
- Organize and process daily/weekly receipts
- Generate and send out invoices
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- Maintain customer files and records
- Update and maintain the current billing system with payments and billings information
- Reconcile payments made and prepare monthly A/R status reports
- Perform other duties as required

HR/Department Support
- Assist with collection and maintenance of employee data information
- Organize and maintain office supply inventory
- Participate in organization of company events
- Assist in scheduling meetings, company events and employee appreciation initiatives
- Assist in organizing professional training programs
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in an Accounting, Business/Administrative Admin, or a related fields program with an accredited school/college/university or, the equivalent of 2 years experience in an administrative role supporting Accounting and HR
- Some knowledge of general accounting principles and Simply Accounting Software is an asset
- Experience in using design software i.e. Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is an asset
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and to persist in following up and completing tasks to hit goals and deadlines
- Highly proficient computer and word processing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- The ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically, even in challenging situations, and to resolve conflict when it arises
- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team required
- Commitment to learning and development
- Passionate and creative with new ideas on marketing materials.

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
