Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, prefabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others.

Job Description: The Controller will provide financial leadership for a growing dynamic business with a twenty-year history of delivering proven market-disrupting services to the construction industry. It will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Sales. Epsilon is part of the HTS Engineering Ltd group of companies and the Controller provides support and is supported by the parent company finance team.

**Responsibilities**:
Accounting
a. Financial and management statements - quarterly and annual preparation/presentation.
b. Ensure accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions for Epsilon are managed in an efficient and accurate way.
c. Provide senior management with analysis of results including development of cost and reporting models that support a growing business.
d. Drafting and implementation of accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure accounting rules are followed.
e. Aid with yearly external audit/reviews.
f. Ensure the Inventory system is accurate, review inventory levels, stock held is at required levels.
g. Management of accounting staff members.

Budgeting and Forecasting
a. Preparation of yearly plan in collaboration with President and Chief Revenue Officer.
b. Presentation of yearly plan to shareholders.
c. Preparation and presentation of monthly and yearly cash flow budgets based on current sales and production schedules.
d. Continued updating and development of Cost Drivers to support profitable growth.

Credit/Collections

a. Enforcement and updating of company credit policy.
b. Ensure timely invoicing and collection of Epsilon work.
c. Work as a mediator between Epsilon sales/operations and customers to ensure that customers timely pay all bills and billing related problems are identified and resolved.

Taxation
a. Work with the Group CFO to develop short
- and long-term corporate tax planning to ensure compliance and an efficient tax program.
b. Deal with government auditors for corporate, commodity and payroll taxes.
b. Ensure timely and accurate remittance of all taxes.

Operations Support and Oversight
a. Inventory management - including creating and enforcement of inventory procedures.
b. Oversee periodic and year-end inventory counts.
c. Human Resources - source and administer company benefit programs, assist with hiring/termination decisions.
d. Work with IT Department to support and evolve current business systems.

**Skills**:

- University Degree specializing in accounting or business, preference given to those with an accounting designation along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in Construction and manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to understand and utilize advanced technologies.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to interact at all organizational levels.
