Quality Assurance Inspector

We are currently have an opportunity for a full-time **Quality Inspector **to join our Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.
**Midnight Shift 11:00pm-7:30am
- Monday
- Friday**
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:
1. Perform receiving as necessary, in-process, and final inspection of customers parts, purchased materials, test coupons, etc. as directed by written work instructions and against specifications.
2. Document results of all inspections on forms provided by the company, using method prescribed by the company.
3. Maintain a working knowledge in the proper use and care of all inspection equipment that is required to be used during the completion of inspection duties.
4. Ensure all documentation used in the course of the job function is accurate and is used properly; maintain up-to-date all databases related to quality assurance.
5. Consult and confer with other quality personnel, planning personnel, and/or production personnel regarding the resolution of technical questions or challenges and/or clarification of requirements.
6. Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout department and work facility
7. Perform internal calibrations up to date.
Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
**Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to handle several projects at one time.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and other manufacturing technical data.
- Computer literate.
- Basic math skills (including algebra), knowledge of basic chemistry, electricity.
Proficient in the use of hand held inspection tools, such as micrometers, calipers and pin gauges, electronic coating thickness inspection equipment, profilemeter,etc.
**Education and Work Experience Requirements**
- High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
- ASQ CQT certification would be an asset.
3+ years of experience in inspection in a manufacturing or metal finishing environment in a position that provided an understanding of a manufacturing system structure (planning/production/quality) and manufacturing/processing methods.
