**Position Overview**:
The Technical Billing Systems Administrator, Fee Billing collaborates in maintaining the daily efficient operation of the CIBC Mellon Fee Billing automated system (Advantage) through the provision of user technical operational support and the creation, monitoring and scheduling of standard system generated and user customized reports and queries. This is a twelve (12) month contract opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides user technical operational support for the Advantage Fee Billing Platform within the Fee Billing Group by Analyze client fee schedules to determine and define setup within the Advantage platform and maintain the integrity of the Advantage Billing system fee patterns, user tables and system settings.
- Advises with Fee Billing System (Advantage) users to establish user requirements for system generated standard and customized reports and queries produced primarily via Crystal Reports, Excel spreadsheets and SQL formats and outputs
- Serves as operational technical liaison between Fee Billing system end users and IS technical team members, interpreting user requirements and translating into format that can be adapted by IS team for design purposes as well as working toward resolution of system issues with IS team
- Prepares customized user reports and queries by defining and documenting user requirements, designing report or query specifications, develop actual report structure, creating test scripts, defining test criteria and releases for production
- Conducts testing on custom designed reports and queries to confirm they meet user requirements, modifying as necessary
- Monitors & documents system activity including the import and export of files, the set-up and maintenance of client fee schedules, the tracking of change processes and collaborating in the implementation of procedural improvements. Liaises with business units to resolve specific billing or system problems impacting system performance

**Qualifications**:

- College degree or equivalent training
- 2 to 3 years progressive experience in a financial or accounting environment, including Billing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL Query and analysis (creation of new queries and modification of existing queries)
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA macro and Access functionalities
- Working knowledge of report writing in Crystal Enterprise
- Working knowledge of database structures, tables and elements
