The Dufresne Group is currently seeking an **Innovation Acceleration Manager **for our Information Systems Team within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**

As an Innovation Acceleration Manager you will help to shape the company’s AI and innovation acceleration strategy and speed up fielding early-stage solutions. You will work with SME innovators in the business to help identify and implement artificial intelligence and other innovative solutions to solve complex business problems.

As the Innovation Acceleration Manager you will:

- Understand the company’s goals and challenges and identify areas where Innovation can stimulate business growth and drive ROI.
- Use your strong influencing skills to facilitate successful product deliveries, increase the performance of existing products, introduce new business models, and evolve the business.
- Conduct vendor analysis and selection, cost-efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation, and analysis.
- Build and deliver the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring innovative and disruptive products to our businesses, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Guide key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit).
- Advise C-suite executives and business leaders on a broad range of technology, strategy, and policy issues associated with the innovative solutions proposed.
- Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, documentation, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with an advanced engineering team and executive leadership.
- Conduct research and development processes for AI and other innovation strategies.
- Stay up to date on the latest AI and innovations relevant to our business domain.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business (MBA) or relevant field. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Information Technology related professional certifications considered an asset.
- Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
- Understanding of functional design principles and project management.
- Ability to work with diverse groups across different parts of the business.
- Knowledge of the retail industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including written, verbal & through use of video, targeting both technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
- Knowledge of innovative accelerators.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of waterfall, scrum, and Kanban frameworks is helpful.
- A rigorous, analytical, and creative mind.
- Extensive team skills and ability to cross-functionally drive/influence work through others.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule and/or extra hours depending on project requirements and deadlines.
- Passport and ability to travel within North America.
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required.
