**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Finance and Administration Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, overseeing administrative tasks, and supporting various departments within our company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our dynamic hybrid publishing company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact with our third-party partners, CFO, and bookkeeper, and manage communication and transactions effectively.
- Oversee accounts receivable and transaction ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Manually add invoices as needed and update records accordingly.
- Handle payment disputes and manage refund requests, including processing, approving, and addressing inquiries.
- Compile and send payroll hours to the CEO biweekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Coordinate and submit charitable donations.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and company as needed, including booking meetings and handling miscellaneous tasks.
- Record meeting minutes.
- Manage payments for contracted employees, collect invoices, and process monthly payments.
- Provide customer service support when required, ensuring prompt and professional assistance to customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in finance, administration, or related roles is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

**Hours**:
Monday - Friday

9am ET - 5pm ET

**Location**:
St.Catharines/Niagara Region preferred

Work from Home Position [with some in person meetings and work days]

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
