**Pinnacle Hotels & Restaurants - Vancouver, British Columbia**
Pinnacle Hotels & Restaurants is currently hiring a Regional Executive Chef for our restaurant portfolio to grow our brands and clientele with a focus on enhancing our menus, developing our teams, and streamlining our kitchen execution.
Our current portfolio consists of a number of restaurants in downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver. Including Vancouver’s premium Italian restaurant - Tutto and ocean front dining at its best with Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar.
**Responsibilities**:
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine with experience in approachable modern and upscale dining experience.
- Develop creative, balanced menus that include new ideas and industry staples. Menus to be designed with fast execution in mind.
- Institute, implement and cost standard recipes and preparation to ensure consistency.
- Ensure all bill times are efficient and to Pinnacle standards.
- Lead, develop and train the culinary teams.
- Provide industry trends and marketing ideas.
- Manage financial targets for scheduling, labour, food costs and inventory, including menu costing.
- Work closely with the GMs and Pinnacle Senior Management.
- Create a teamwork environment through motivating and developing staff, including cross-training and promoting internally to build future kitchen leaders.
**Requirements**:
- Certification of culinary training, a degree in the Culinary Arts or apprenticeship, Red Seal and journeyman certificate.
- Minimum 5 years in an executive role at an established restaurant group.
- Level 2 Food Safe and minimum Level 1 first aid.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays, based on business needs and sometimes private events.
- Efficient in word, excel & Optimum control.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
