**Duties**:
Visitor services and revenue collection at entrance gateways, information/visitor centres, campgrounds, kiosks and on park to enhance the visitor experience.

**Work environment**:
Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

The Forillon Peninsula has been inhabited for thousands of years and Forillon Park bears witness to the lives of the men and women who lived there, including Micmacs, fishermen, cod merchants, whale hunters and lighthouse keepers.

- Experience in interacting with the public in a reception/orientation context;
- Experience in anticipating/meeting public needs, resolving complaints, anticipating/detecting incidents and finding solutions;
- Experience in handling cash and operating point of sales.

- Knowledge of products, services, programs and highlights of Forillon National Park and surrounding areas.
- Experience as a Visitor Services Attendant at the Parks Canada Agency.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

- Obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.
- Possession of a valid Driver's license (Class 5).

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Wear a Parks Canada uniform.
- Make moderate physical effort to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Be exposed to variable weather conditions.
- Occasionally demonstrate tasks to others.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays, when required.
- Willingness to undergo first aid and CPR training.
- Be exposed to noxious odors from car fumes.
- Need to work in different places.
