The Radiation and Explosives Safety Advisor ensures and improve capabilities to comply with external standards and regulations.

As a Radiation and Explosives Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring compliance of end-destination use of radioactive materials, pulse neutron generators and oilfield explosives.
- Advises Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in radioactive and explosives and dangerous goods space.
- Handles communication with the business and with Canadian regulatory body CNSC
- Insure/complete monthly, quarterly, annual tasks to remain compliant for all sites throughout Canada.
- Administer dosimeter program for all of Canada, including quarterly monitoring and reporting, to meet regulatory requirements to CNSC & NRCAN
- Audit transportation TDG, and shipments for compliance and regulatory purposes.
- Administer training, on radioactive and explosives handling and usage and meet the regulatory requirements for Baker Hughes and country specific requirements.
- Maintain and renew radioactive and explosives licenses, with Canadian regulatory bodies.
- Administer the radiation protection program of the facilities with in Canada.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Field Operations Wireline/Drilling Services)
- Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS) with radioactive, explosives dangerous goods.
- Knowledge of radiation physics, and principal's of radiation safety
