As a key member of our team, the Lube Technician brings to life the ultimate service experience. As a general service technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services. These tasks can include performing routine vehicle maintenance, including:

- fluid exchanges and oil changes
- visual safety and courtesy inspections
- mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires
- testing and replacing batteries
- changing bulbs, belts, and hoses
- maintaining and cleaning shop areas
- other shop maintenance items as needed

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing requested repair work in a productive and efficient manner
- Performing Oil Changes & Quick Lubes in an efficient manner
- Performing Tire Changeovers & Wheel Balancing
- Light Duty Repair work - Wipers, Air & Cabin Filters
- Repairing vehicles under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
- Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Oil Change Technician
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must have basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- First Aid and WHMIS an asset
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
- Ability to learn new Service techniques and procedures
- Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
