**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our organization.

**Shift**: Two options to choose from (1) Full Time, M-F, 40 hours. (2) Part Time, 4-5 days a month.

**Role**:

- Sole HSE Advisor reporting to General Manager.
- Travel 3-4 times a month to and from Leduc, Lloydminster, Wainwright and Medicine.
- Combined Shop and Field Responsibilities

**HSE Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the company Safety Program (COR Audit, Inspections, Investigations, onboarding, etc.)
- Research, develop and maintain current safety programs and ensure it aligns with Federal, Provincial and client programs.
- Disability Management: Ensure effective WCB claims management process
- Ensure annual inspections are carried out on equipment and training needs are met.
- Work closely with the joint health and safety committee and all levels of management to ensure safety and compliance is observed at all levels
- Prequalification’s for future and current clients on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain compliance programs such as ISNetworld and Comply Works

**Transportation Responsibilities**:

- Monitor ELD program and Conduct Driver Evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and record keeping concerning all transportation matters such as National Safety Code, Carrier Profile, etc.
- Enforce, perform, assist in and coordinate Safety Training, relating to driver and compliance training such as Load Securement, Trip Inspections, ELD, log books
- Enforce policies and standards, and ensure compliance with transport regulations
- Ensure Driver/Vehicle files are up-to date and properly maintained
- Maintain and be aware of all fleet insurance requirements

**QA/QC Responsibilities**:

- Assist with maintaining the company’s QA/QC program. (ISO9001 internal audits and document control)

**Qualifications**:

- A recognized diploma or degree in OH&S Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the Alberta OH&S field; ACSA NCSO Designation with Valid ACSA COR Auditor
- ISO 9001:2015 experience would be an asset
- Intermediate proficiency in the use of a variety of PC software including all Microsoft products. Excellent written and verbal computer skills
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract is required.
- Familiar with National Safety Code and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code.
