The Receiver plays a vital role in the successful operation of all of our kitchens. Awareness, consistency, cleanliness, and care are all hallmarks of this position. The back of house and events team rely heavily on output from this role, making efficiency, neatness and preparation critical to the success of this position. The individual in this role works hard and takes pride in organization, cleanliness and presentinga well-maintained and orderly area.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness of the receiving bay and dry goods area, ensuring all equipment is in full working order and any necessary cleaning agents are stocked
- Maintain cleanliness of the grounds. Make sure things are working efficiently both inside and out.
- Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality
- Ensure invoices for each delivery are given to the correct department and sorted correctly
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related departments or areas
- Support kitchen staff with certain tasks
- Regularly remove full waste bags and recycling and carry to the appropriate outdoor receptacles from F&B depts
- Able to assist in dish areas from both a cleanliness and operational standpoint
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Ensure all storage areas are organized and tidy
- Maintain clean and tidy workstations

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
