**The Job**
- Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, the Paid Marketing lead will be responsible for the development, execution, and growth of Homebase's paid marketing strategy with a focus on customer acquisition and activation. You'll work closely with our Marketing and Growth partners to achieve performance results against defined KPIs, push our measurement capabilities, tackle technical paid marketing analytics & operations initiatives, and drive CRO and channel experimentation.
**Role Outcomes**- Accountable for the strategy, execution, and measurement of paid marketing performance. Strong focus on acquisition and activation of our best-fit customers across a diverse spectrum of paid media channels.-
- Advance paid marketing at Homebase through channel diversification, pushing measurement boundaries, and continuous experimentation.-
- Establish systems, processes, and automations to advance Paid Marketing practices, and marketing analytics and operations pertaining to Paid Marketing.**Role Outputs**- Drive and scale the strategy, measurement, execution, and optimization of Paid Marketing campaigns across paid channels. Can include: paid search, paid social, video, app campaigns, affiliate marketing, display, programmatic, and channels newer to the business (e.g., audio, direct mail).-
- Forecast and track key business KPIs and supporting metrics with a focus on paid acquisition, activation, down-funnel metrics, and product mix adoption-
- Conduct regular analyses on paid channel performance. Surface and deliver actionable insights, recommendations, and strategies that maximize media investments to materially impact business objectives-
- Create, maintain and execute against a prioritized backlog of paid media enhancements & optimizations to drive efficiency-
- Drive a prioritized roadmap of paid CRO and channel experimentation to unlock new learnings and opportunities for growth-
- Partner closely with Brand, Design, and Product Marketing teams to develop performance-driven creative that aligns with proper messaging and positioning.-
- Strong knowledge & hands-on experience analyzing multiple data sources, including website analytics, user cohort & business data, and ad platform data to unlock insights and inform strategies.-
- Complete ownership of Paid Marketing reporting, data, & measurement, including:- Providing forecasts & performance results against defined KPIs and metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence-
- Deep dives on channel and campaign performance, new or ongoing testing/experimentation, progress towards larger-scale initiatives, etc.-
- Presenting performance results, insights, and actionable recommendations to upper management and other stakeholders in accessible ways-
- Partner closely with SEO, our Growth Marketing Analyst, Biz Ops, Data Science/Eng teams to dive deeper into performance analyses, uncover insights, unlock efficiencies and opportunities, as well as to refine data processes.-
- Coach & mentor one direct report**Skills**- Proven track record of growth or acquisition marketing management experience across highly competitive B2B/SaaS spaces-
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads, Shareasale, amongst other ad platforms, are a must.-
- Exceptional analytical competency - comfort in interpreting large and varied data sets, as well as a strong understanding of attribution modeling, data collection & stitching, tracking, first/second/third party data, etc.-
- Deep proficiency with analytics platforms & BI/data visualization platforms a must (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, etc.)Solid understanding of marketing operations as it pertains to Paid, including tracking, eventing, usage of data layers, etc. Proficiency with GTM is strongly preferred. Amplitude/Heap is a plus.-
