We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth operations at the front desk. If you have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out processes, guest inquiries, and requests
- Train and supervise front desk staff to ensure high-quality service standards are met
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction
- Manage and update hotel information on various booking platforms
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory management
**Skills**:
- Strong guest service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus (e.g., bilingual or multilingual)
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
- Solid understanding of hotel operations and front desk procedures
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in computer systems/software used in hotel operations
What are we looking for?
Front Office Managers serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years of Front Office supervisory experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector
High level of IT proficiency
High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
Experience of managing people and developing people
Previous experience of managing a department and Profit and Loss account
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Accountable and resilient
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Familiar with Property Management Systems
A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
