**Front of House Bakery Manager**

We are seeking an organized, customer-focused **Front of House (FOH) Bakery Manager** to lead the operations of our bakery’s front-end, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and smooth daily operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service Excellence**: Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable and friendly service while upholding the bakery’s standards of hospitality.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- **Inventory & Display Management**: Oversee the presentation and rotation of bakery products, ensuring attractive displays and that stock levels meet customer demand.
- **Point of Sale (POS) Management**: Manage the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and reconcile daily sales.
- **Complaint Resolution**: Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, aiming for complete customer satisfaction.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure that front-of-house areas are clean, well-organized, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- **Scheduling**: Coordinate and manage front-of-house staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.
- **Collaborate with Back-of-House**: Work closely with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment of products and seamless communication between teams.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in food service or hospitality
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting bakery space
- Organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)

**Location**:
