**This is what you will do**:
The Epidemiology team is a growing group within the Alexion-AstraZenca Rare Disease Unit which is driving the scientific use of Real World Data to accelerate the way that patients access innovative medicines. The Manager, Epidemiology Associate is a role that involves supporting the execution of cutting-edge and impactful analytics for rare disease epidemiology at a global level. The Manager, Epidemiology Associate will be responsible for overseeing the development and incorporation of analytics from Alexion's TriNetX platform to assess the evaluation of rare disease clinical trial protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria, clinical trial site identification, and support clinical trial diversity efforts. The Manager, Epidemiology Associate will be expected to interface closely with other Epidemiologists and Real World Scientists within the department, along with colleagues in other departments such as Clinical Project Leaders and Medical Directors. The Manager, Epidemiology Associate will also be expected to track and monitor utilization metrics of the TriNetX platform for rare disease clinical trials across project teams, identify gaps, and provide training and outreach to teams surrounding the use of TriNetX in clinical trial planning.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Lead the conduct of analytics within the TriNetX platform in support of clinical trial protocol feasibility, and planning for clinical trial implementation.
- Track and monitor utilization metrics of the TriNetX platform for rare disease clinical trials across project teams and identify gaps.
- Provide training and outreach to teams surrounding the use of TriNetX in clinical trial planning.
- Work with Epidemiology and Real World Science leadership around coordination of department and leadership team meetings, tracking contracts and monitoring department budget; tracking deliverables, achievements, and publications; and reporting to senior management around department successes.

**You will need to have**:

- Minimum of Master’s degree in Public Health or Healthcare Administration with at least 3 years experience post-graduation.
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. **We would prefer for you to have**:

- Awareness of clinical data standards, medical terminologies and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/SNOMED)
- Experience in coordinating teams and financial budgets
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong people and organizational skills
- Ability to work well across multiple functional areas and business levels
- Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
