Regional Relationship Manager

Reporting to the Regional Vice-President, Quebec & Atlantica Canada the **_Regional Relationship Manager _**will primarily be responsible to provide support to advisors, generate and develop new business and be an extension of the Regional VP.
More specifically, you will:
**1. Provide operational support to Advisors by**:
- Being central contact person for advisors when trying to resolve daily issues with different depts (operations, compliance, legal, remuneration dept).
- Ensuring advisors remaining current on upcoming firm and industry changes and upgrades by implementing new communication strategies.
- Overseeing key operational and administrative implementations.
- Support advisors and their teams in basic training and development of systems, particularly when there is a new addition to the team.
**2. Generate and develop new business by**:
- Developing and maintaining value-added, ongoing relationships with the iA Private Wealth Advisors.
- Assisting Advisors with business building & strategy in order to improve profitability of their book.
- Ensure training of Advisors on existing and new administrative tools is performed (internal client reporting, trading platforms, new account opening electronic platform, internal
- website etc.).
- Support the RVP in providing pertinent marketing information to key Advisors.
**3. Provide support to Regional VP by**:
- Liaise with internal Transition department.
- Assisting in the development of a strategic plan each quarter to increase sales from Advisors in the territory.
- Acting as backup to the Regional VP when unavailable to attend functions.
- Routinely assists with recruiting (initial contact) and succession planning.
- Broadcasts and supports special projects.
- Supporting the Regional VP in preparing for and following up on appointments.
**4. Contribute to the effective functioning of the Regional Sales & Support team by**:
- Ensuring consistent and efficient processes and practices across the region.
- Participating actively in team learning development activities and team performance achievements.
- Building effective working relationships across the team and with various business line and corporate function contacts.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Facilitating a culture of open and honest communication.
- Actively participating and contributing to touch bases and team meetings.
- Encouraging the generation of new ideas and approaches.
- Actively share knowledge and experience to enhance the development of all team members.
**Your expertise**:
**_Experience/Education _**
- Well versed with MS-Excel and MS-Office suite.
- Trades Course is an asset.
- Background in the financial domain is an asset.
- Excellent language skills in French and English, both oral and written, for frequent interactions with English
- and French-speaking colleagues and internal/external partners across Canada.
