Regional Operations Manager

As a Regional Director of Operations, you would act as a gatekeeper to the organization's standards for all property operations. You would be responsible for the training, leadership and management of human resources related to operations. In addition, you will plan, direct and control diligently and rigorously the management of the properties according to the profitability objectives set.
**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:
- Significant experience in property management (minimum 3 years)
- Demonstrate organizational skills - deliverables, projects, etc.
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
- Ability to travel to the United States
- Great communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships
- Strong ability to train and coach teams
- Have a great attitude and credible approach
- Advanced knowledge of building maintenance
- Mastery of the Office software suite
**AVAILABILITY AND OBLIGATIONS**:
- Be available to give up his/her working hours for the smooth running of the various projects, i.e.: day, evening and weekend.
- Be available to manage emergencies that may arise according to the projects in progress.
**DUTIES & TASKS**:
1. Ensure the standardization of Trantor's processes in order to achieve a level of operation of properties that meets the best industry standards.
- Act in accordance with Trantor's mission, vision and values - Be an ambassador for the Trantor brand.
- Create a sense of community and loyalty for the Trantor brand.
- Conduct general audits and follow up on results with rigor.
- Proactively engage with the various properties and ensure effective training of property managers.

- Carry out all tasks required for the smooth running of the operations of his sector.
2. Ensure a WOW customer experience by supporting and coaching property managers in achieving this goal.
- Provide leadership, training and development of a dedicated and high performing team that meets the highest industry standards and thus achieves our goals (defines and communicates customer service standards).
- Support property managers in identifying sources that impact customer satisfaction and implement actions to correct them.
- Reviews customer complaints, tracks resolution of customer complaints, manages complex issues
3. Actively participates in the recruitment and training of new property teams.
- Recruit, select and train high performing property managers.
- Participates in the organization, training and opening of new properties.
- Ensures the implementation of all new initiatives (new product launches, technology initiatives, process improvements, new policies, marketing and promotions).
4. Actively participates in special projects initiated to improve processes and cost control.
- Develop and enforce policies, processes and procedures, review and improve as needed (Operations Manual).
- Be a key player in organizational and operational changes
- Develop budgets and business plans in conjunction with the building managers.
- Support building managers in the development and implementation of leasing and revenue development plans.
- Ensure effective repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
- Monitor apartments to be renovated and ensure follow-up.
- Assist the Property Manager in coordinating and supervising work and contracts performed by outside vendors.
- Work in collaboration with the finance department.
- Participate in the Executive Committee.
- Any other project deemed relevant by management.
