CMLS Asset Management is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Western Region) to join our growing team.

CMLS Asset Management provides its investor clients with exposure to real estate debt, either through pooled vehicles, or direct sub-advisory relationships. Our flagship product is the CMLS Mortgage Fund with a 15-year track record and a strong return profile of 6-8%. Our vision is to be recognized as a trusted alternative asset manager.

The primary objective of the national sales team is to grow our asset base by supporting our direct investor clients, and our network of investment professionals as they endeavor to prepare their clients for retirement and other significant life goals that demand focused financial management.

The team works together to plan and execute a strategy that cultivates key relationships and effectively maximizes territory sales.

**About the Role**:
As an integral member of the sales team, the Regional Sales Manager will work in partnership with the Director, National Accounts and Investment Sales to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the territory sales plan.

The Regional Sales Manager will learn about the fundamentals of our business, who our clients are, what their needs are, and how CMLS can meet those needs.

**This includes**:

- Consistently generating and maintaining a quality pipeline of transactions in order to meet sales and activity/engagement targets
- Maintaining and strengthening external client relationships
- Discovering and exploring new business opportunities via proactive sales calls
- Working with the Director, National Accounts and Investment Sales to optimize the use and effectiveness of PM access, due diligence, conference participation and other events for the region.
- Managing investor relations; providing proactive support and services to existing supporters, investors, and prospects, responding to inquiries, and coordinating follow-up where required in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records of contacts in the region along with activity tracking of leads in the sales pipeline and CRM
- Travel as needed to deliver sales presentations and meetings
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our industry and competition
- Participating in and contributing to regular team meetings and business planning sessions;
- Providing ongoing support regarding the CMLS Asset Management and CMLS Mortgage Fund
- brand and presence, sharing ideas and strategies designed to develop overall sales and client base.
- Coordinating and participating in corporate and social events with colleagues and industry professionals
- Representing the Company with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of customer service to both our external and internal partners.

***This role is for you, if you have**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of successful field sales experience or equivalent
- BA /BS degree preferred.
- Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships
- Passionate, willing to put in the extra effort in order to achieve personal goals
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision, in a fast-paced work environment
- Driven and goals-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently, open to direction and collaborative work style
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have the ability to remain flexible and meet deadlines under pressure with little supervision
- Strong understanding of real estate and finance fundamentals
- An entrepreneurial spirit
