Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families**:
Reporting to the Leader, Work Design & Compensation, the Representative provides technical and administrative support services to the Work Design & Compensation team; provides servicing to the Client Partners by reviewing the content of job descriptions and recommending appropriate classification level; provides assistance in the development, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of Compensation/Classification databases; assists consultant in implementing classification changes by compiling data and preparing documentation; provides assistance to the team by responding to client requests and liaising with internal and external contacts; assists with implementation and support for Health Authorities involved in Lower Mainland Integrated programs; conducts and completes compensation surveys; develops statistical reports; initiates the gathering of information for third party hearings; develops and analyzes costing summaries; develops, revises and maintains organization charts. Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and administrative support services to the Work Design & Compensation (WD&C) team which includes processing requests for new and revised job descriptions, assigning relevant job description number, creating job description in the Opportunities Job Bank (OJB) and setting up record management files.
- Provides servicing to the Consultant by reviewing the content of job descriptions, making changes where necessary; applies the relevant classification plan criteria to individual job descriptions and recommends classification levels.
- Provides assistance in the development, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of Compensation Databases such as the OJB and the Classification Grievance/Job Review database, Ensures data integrity within the systems.
- Assists Consultants in implementing compensation changes resulting from pay equity, classification adjustments and collective agreement ratifications; compiles data and prepares documentation in collaboration with key stakeholders; provides detailed costing summaries and analyzes impact of classification changes.
- Liaises with Managers/Consultants in various internal and/or external working groups or committees regarding the implementation and support for Health Authorities involved in Lower Mainland Integrated programs.
- Conducts compensation surveys for Fraser Health as directed with selected external organizations; compiles and analyzes survey information for the Consultants, WD&C and the Managing Consultant, WD&C; responds to external organizations conducting salary surveys; provides relevant data.
- Develops reports and extracts required information from relevant data systems to meet internal/external requirements.
- Develops, updates and maintains organization charts; publishes organization charts on Fraser Health website.
- Initiates the gathering of information in preparation for third party interventions and grievances on behalf of Fraser Health by working with the Human Resources Team to compile all required documentation.
- Responds to compensation/classification requests from a variety of sources for job descriptions and statistical data.
