**MAIN **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Meet and exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling TV advertising to qualified advertisers
- Use professional sales techniques to build relationships, and develop long term advertising relationships that grow TLN Media Group advertising sales
- Follow-up on Hot Leads, prepare proposals, and utilize industry leading research
- Preparing and delivering professional, customized presentations that speak directly to client needs
- Being a resource and idea-generator for clients either in-person, on the phone or via video call
- Using our CRM system as a tool to ensure that client records and sales activities are accurate
- Keeping well-informed of community activities and being an active well-networked member
- Provide ongoing information and support to ensure optimal customer service
- Source and secure sponsors for events, sponsor activations, and ensure sponsorship deliverables are met
- Develop sponsorship strategies, and draft proposals and presentations for new and prospective sponsors
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 3 years of business-to-business sales
- University degree in a relevant field
- Experience selling media is an important asset
- Excellent network of contracts in the local (direct) and retail markets
- Honesty and professional integrity
- Skill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Excellent communication and ability to maintain interpersonal relationships quickly and establish credibility with clients
- Willingness to learn new things, embrace new ideas and grow
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of CRM
- A valid G Drivers’ license and your own vehicle
- Experience in broadcast media and multilingual abilities (particularly Spanish and Italian) would be a distinct advantage
