**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Database Management & Data Integrity**:

- Perform regular data audits to ensure database integrity, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.

**Financial & Payment Processing**:

- Process cheques for payment, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, cost tracking, and reporting for all logistics-related financial transactions.

**Reporting & Analysis**:

- Generate and maintain regular reports on logistics expenses, postage charges, and payment statuses.
- Assist in preparing logistics reports on delivery performance, cost efficiency, and other key metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in logistics operations.

**Process Improvement & Problem Solving**:

- Proactively identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in logistics data and propose actionable solutions.
- Assist in streamlining workflows and improving data entry processes to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.

**Industry Trends & Insights**:

- Generate and maintain regular reports on industry trends, helping the team stay informed about market changes, new shipping regulations, or cost fluctuations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience working with large datasets, preferably in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative role.
- Experience in financial or payment processing (e.g., cheque processing, invoice generation, or adjustments) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and similar spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets).
- Familiarity with logistics management systems, and shipping management platforms (e.g., postage software) is a plus.
- High level of accuracy in data entry, financial processing, and document management.
- Ability to spot discrepancies and errors in data, and take appropriate corrective action.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and suppliers.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities to resolve database issues and discrepancies efficiently.
- Familiarity with logistics, shipping, or carrier operations preferred.
