Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily administrative support and document control.
- Generate work orders ensuring accuracy and completeness of information such as item descriptions and destinations.
- Organize and maintain paperwork related to logistics operations, including work orders and related documents. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Perform checks on paperwork and documentation to identify any discrepancies or inconsistencies. Rectify errors promptly and communicate with operations team.
- Liaise with various divisions and team members regarding administrative and logístical matters.
- Act as support to the Logistics Coordinator.
- Assist in daily schedule.
- Participate in team/staff meetings when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Daily interaction with employees regarding daily job logs and logistics support.
- Use of GFL proprietary software to enter ticket information and track productivity.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

- Completion of high school. Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset.
- Previous transportation, dispatch or customer service experience an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of industry an asset.
- Required to work extended hours including occasional weekends.
- Additional or specialized training in transportation, logistics, or similar area of study; customer service experience in a call center environment.
